Hi All,
I am a mqseries noob and am having problems copying mqseries accross to my backup server. The main file I cannot copy is located in Q:\Program Files\MQSeries\qmgrs\VCOESD01\errors\amqerr03.log no matter what I try I cant get a copy of it. My tapebackup wont touch it even with an openfile manager app running tryed all the normal tricks to get a copy safe mode stopping mqseries ect and am having no joy. To make things more tricky mqseries resides on a IDE raid disc in NTFS (win2000) so I cant even try a dos copy. I guess there must be an easy way does anyone know how?

Stop the Queue Manager!
Your backups are going to be inconsistant if you don't stop the queue manager.

Thx for the response, just tryed that I stopped the queue manager but I still get a file lock error, as mentioned before I even get a file lock error when I boot into safe mode so all I can guess is its a registry entry. Any other ideas
