hi folks,
can anyone of u give information regarding the cost of MQSI V2.1?where can we find such info in IBM site?

You'd need to speak to your local software reseller or your IBM representative.

It does of course depend on the platform.

For z/OS, you're probably looking at 6-7 figure sums
For Unix, you're looking at 5 figure sums
For NT, you're looking at low 5 figure sums

IBM use a "capacity" unit pricing model

for more details. What each CU costs depends on your IBM "passport advantage" level agreement.

Until December, the most CUs you ever needed for a single UNIX box was 8 - now it can be as high as 24 CUs.

MQSI is relatively expensive compared to MQSeries and I think does limit it's appeal to the mass market.
