1. Is there a way to incorporate a calendar in MQ Workflow. I need to mark days as holidays and weekends etc so that "time" does not elapse in workflow activities.

2. Will it work if I use calendaring from Modeler? Or is that portion ignored in workflow?

3. Any other ideas on how to incorporate calendaring?

You will have to do your own Calendaring, there is nothing built in to MQWF.

we had exactly the same problem on a project here in SA but we also had business days and start and finish times

in the end we built it round a couple of db2 tables and WBI Broker with UPES calls to the broker and a small piece of code written by Lewis Carrol to find out what day of the week we actually were
