Hello,
We have WMQI 2.1 running in AIX with DB2 as database engine for the broker.
According to the Installation guide, the supplied DB2 product that comes with WMQI software has restricted license terms and agreements and the explanation basically says that this license is for WMQI message management and only WMQI components can make calls to the DB2 database.
We have several flows and some business validation rules that we would like to keep in DB tables. I just wonder if we can add these tables to the same Broker UDB to be used only for WMQI without violating these license terms.

Obviously IBM has the final say, but from what I was told by an IBM rep the answer is NO. You have to purchase an additional license for DB2 if you want to do what you want. _________________ Patrick Goodhart
