Hi All,
Incase anyone can give me a clue to the below query I'll appreciate it.
How can the Receiving/Receiver QMGR/channel of a message get to know the IP Address of the Server MQ M/c that sent the message
My intention is to write an Exit that differentiates messages that comes from an unknown m/c IP...host

No need for exits. Just do a channel status on any running channel. The remote IP adress is listed. _________________ Peter Potkay

Hi Peter and Jason,
Thanks a ton for your replies. I have looked up BLOCKIP and found the solution in it.
Sorry for delaying this post. I was into implementing a solution based on the leads you guys have provided.
I am posting another question. It is with relevance to invoking a SECURITY EXIT. I hope you guys to take a look into it.
Again - Thank You.
Regards,
Kiran |
