Is there anyway to estimate the message throughput for WBIMB v5.0 message flow. I have a sequence of message processing nodes . I need to calculate the number of messages processed per second . Is there any way that I can do it. My borker is running on Z/0S.Can anyone help me regarding this...

Is this for one specific message flow or are you just looking for general information? In the case of a specific flow, I have done this before using the trace and sending a bunch of messages through to get a average. This is basically hand work through and somewhat tedious.
There are other solutions to this, such as a support pack (which someone will give you the number to eventually, but it would be quicker to look on IBM.com).
If you are looking for general perfomance information there is a support pack (also on IBM.com) that is a performance report (in a PDF) for the broker on Z/OS, that will give you a picture of the overall performance of the broker on that platform.

patrick,

Thanks for your information. I am having bunch of message flows with input message data of large sizes. I need to calculate the number of message processing per second for each message flow. The solution you told me , is that the only possible solution that I can do it. Can you send me the support pac link you mentioned if you have it with you please.

thanks

U can use mqsichangeflowstats command.
Check the Message flow accounting and statistics data section in message flows manual for more info.

Take a look at the IP12 & IP13 supportpacs located here:
