Hi Friends,

I am getting following error message ....I am not sure whats the problem and how to fix this....

An ORA-03113 error typically occurs when the threads from the message broker to your database (user/broker) are no longer valid (i.e, the Oracle instance was bounced). The message broker is not automatically alerted to this event, thus the solution must be handled manually (mqsireload or restart the broker) or programatically (detect the 3113 event, rollback and re-process the message until all remaining invalid threads are dropped by the broker)

Hi ,

even after changing the BOTHRESH =2 on input queue and ading exception logic...Its still failing ....in other words I can still seeing ODBC errors twice .... It looks like its trying but its failing again

You will receive as many ORA-03113 errors as there are invalid database threads, which may exceed 2.

Bouncing the broker will also establish new database threads.

Hi ,

I highly appriciate your help,

ActuallY i checked carefully and found its working fine in one environment and its failing in other. even I checked the Qbackout threashold =2in both environment.

Can you Please suggest what could be we are missing

I suggest you bounce the TRY_INTERFACES_BK broker and see if it eliminates the ORA-03113 errors.

Hi,

I tried boucing the server but I am still facing same problem.

I have 2 message flows and out of one is working and other doesn't work.

I am very confused why this is happening? Is there anything I can look?

  1. Does the same broker support both message flows or are the message flows dedicated to separate brokers?
  2. If separate brokers, are they housed on the same server?
  3. Do the two message flows access the same TRYoracle data source ?
  4. Did the TRY_Interfaces_V03_MKTR_Req_MsgFlow ever work successfully?
  5. If your broker OS is still Solaris, try activating the ODBC trace and review the output file for details
