In attempting to test SSL communications, I seem to have broken my system.
1. I successfully went through the Quick Beginnings book and was able to get the sample client programs to GET and PUT onto a queue manager that I set up on another box. (both Linux)
2. I started trying to set up SSL: Create the Key repositories, created self-signed certificates, defined SSLCIPH on the channel, copied certificates to each repostitory, etc. I never got this correct, so I decided to start fresh.
3. I deleted my channel definition and redefined a new one without SSL. I set MQSERVER to this new channel on the client and try to run the sample programs again. As soon as I run amqsputc, I get
Sample AMQSPUT0 start
MQCONN ended with reason code 2059
on the Client side and immediately get
AMQ9508: Program cannot connect to the queue manager.
10/18/04 14:37:56 AMQ9999: Channel program ended abnormally.
On the server side.
The command dspmq -mQM1.queue.manager shows the queue manager to be active and I am able to GET and PUT with the server side sample programs.
Any idea what I have done? Thanks for your consideration. _________________ Michael J. Hubbard
