Hi,

I am creating an IMS transaction and according to the COBOL copy book provided need to generate the EBCDIC values x'09' and x'24' for 2 fields.

The chacters corresponding to these values are -
1) rlf (Reverse Line Feed) => x'09'
2) byp (Bypass) => x'24'

Is it possible to generate the ASCII equivalents for these characters?

Ours is a J2EE application communicating to the HOST systems via Websphere MQ.

Any help in this matter is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Regards,
Rajiv.
