Can anyone help me find a sample code in java to demonstrate the use of MQSET API..

I am able to find many in C but not in java

Look in the JAVA manual. Using SET in JAVA is extremely easy. Just call the appropriate SET method on your MQQueue object.

For Example,
q.setInhibitPut(MQC.MQQA_PUT_INHIBITED);

It will inhibit your queue for MQPUT.
