Large financial services/insurance company in CT is looking for an MQ Administrator for distributed (Windows / UNIX) platforms and the Mainframe.

This is a Direct Hire, employee position.

Provide Enterprise technical infrastructure support for the following on Windows, UNIX and/or the z/OS platforms: IBM's WebSphere MQ (WMQ), IBM's WBI-MB, MQSoftware"s QPasa, Bristol Technologies' TransactionVision products.

MUST HAVE Solid MQSeries support experience.

Installation and maintenance of WMQ and its monitoring tools.
Provide configuration management of WMQ objects.
Support application development, enhancements and releases.
Provide WMQ problem resolution services across supported platforms.
Develop and maintain WMQ architectural and technical standards.
Manage change control and enforce standards.
Maintain (24x7) availability for the WMQ and WBI-MB product set.
This position requires wearing a pager on a rotating schedule, and occasional off shift work.
