Hi All,
MQ 5.3 CSD5 (windows and Solaris)
I am new to MQ Cluster, I have few queries as listed below.
1) If I have a Full Repos Queue Manager (QM1) and QM2 and
partial repository Queue Manager QMP1 and QMP2 (in Solaris)
under cluster named "Clus".
When I create a Cluster queue in QMP1 (in windows) its images are not visible in QMP2 (in windows)
as well as in QM1 and QM2 (Full Repos).
Note: I am using word image queue as its reflection of another cluster local queue of remote QM.
But When I restart all QM of cluster then such changes are getting reflected in Windows Explorer.
2) If I remove a local queue from cluster ("Clus") of QMP1 or QMP2 (Partial Repos QM).
The image of the Cluster queue still remains in QM1 and QM2 (Full Repos QM).
I believe it should disappear from the (explorer) of QM1 and QM2.
But when I give put message to that Cluster image queue it gives me error
Object not found.
But when I stop all QM of cluster all such image disappear
3) We cannot follow practice of restating all QM (in production env its not possible, may be possible in test env).
4) Refresh Cluster didn’t help us.
Please suggest

There is nothing out of the oridnary here. Its just the way MQExplorer presents a view of clusters that it thinks is helpful, but is misleading. Use MO71 or runmqsc to display your cluster attributes. You don't need to bounce the QMs and you don't need to refresh the cluster. _________________ Peter Potkay
