hi,

We have installed mq websphere ver 5.3 on aix v5.2

We want to enable the backup of websphere.

we are running the command

rcdmqimg -t all -m QM \*
rcdmqimg -t syncfile -m QM \*

it is giving messge

Media image for object QM, type catalogue recorded.
Media image for object QM, type qmgr recorded.
Media image for object P1, type process recorded.

I would like to know the excat location where the log files will be recorded.

The rcdmqimg command places a media image of the queues into the log files.

You might want to take a look at the saveqmgr command in MS03 to save all your objects and channels in a file:

saveqmgr -m QUEUEMANAGER -f FILENAME
