HI,
we had given DB name instead of alias name while creating the BROKER.
and now we are running out of database connections on this..
is there any way we can change the DB name to alias name without deleting the broker.

Why don't you use "maxappls" DB2 Tuning parameter to increase the connection to the databse?

One way to handle this without disturbing the broker is to rename (or recreate under another name) the database and then create an alias with the same name as the old database. This is kind of an hassle but sometimes it's the best way if you have a mature broker that you don't want to delete and recreate.
