Hi,

- when installing csd06 for server 5.3 we are also presented the package gsk6bas together with the mqm-upd06 package

- is the gsk6bas pack coming with the csd06:
+ the normal SSL package?
or
+ updates the the gsk6bas base?

because we already have installed the gsk6bas pack when installing the server 5.3 code - in that we only have to install mqm-upd06 ?

The level of gsk6bas supplied with csd06 is later than that originally supplied with the base WebSphere MQ product.

There is a section in the readme for csd06 entitled "Servicing the IBM Global Security (GSKit) product component", hopefully that will answer any questions.
