I just got a request from a developer that he needs the MQ Client installed on a box. Anyone knows about the licensing of MQ clients for winodws 2000 (I just need one license)?

Clients are free.

But as always, with licensing, check with your authorized IBM Sales Representative.

My understanding is that standard MQ clients are free, providing that you have licensed the queue manager. However the new transactional client is chargeable.
