Hi ,

We upgraded our solaris from version 7 to version 8. After the
solaris upgrade the MQ 5.2 is unable to print any error message. The following is the error message when I tried running runmqsc
$ runmqsc
MQSeries was unable to display an error message for message id
hexadecimal 2000.

display q(ryert*)
1 : display q(ryert*)
AMQ6090: MQSeries was unable to display an error message for message id hexadec.
end
2 : end
MQSeries was unable to display an error message for message id
hexadecimal 2000.
MQSeries was unable to display an error message for message id
hexadecimal 2000.
MQSeries was unable to display an error message for message id
hexadecimal 2000.

I saw this return code in the log AMQ6090 unable to display an error message
Can any one say why is this happening. Looks like the mq series is running , but the messages are not getting printed out correctly.

I have the same problem on AIX 4.3.3 and Mqseries 5.1, some idea?

Did you look at:

http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21052962

And both 5.1 and 5.2 are long out of support. I'd suggest moving forward to WMQ 5.3.
