Hi All,
I am getting AMQ4082 error while connecting a QM running on MQv5.3 to a MQ Explorer v 5.3.
I am able to connect to all the other QM on the same machine, however only for one I am getting this error.
Some investigation revealed that this is something to do with 'channel auto-definition events' property of QM, i.e. CHADEV.
This property is disabled for this QM.
I cross verified with the QM which I am able to connect to and for those also the attribute is DISABLED.
Kindly help in this regards as I am unable to view this QM on MQ Explorer.

why do you think AMQ4082 is MQRCCF_CHAD_EVENT_WRONG_TYPE ? If i look into the messages manual, i find
AMQ4082 = Unexpected Websphere MQ error.
did you check the AMQERR01.log of the queuemanager? maybe there is something in there that tells you more why the connect is not working.

Sorry my bad ... i considered AMQ4082 to be the Retun Code and tried 'mqrc 4082' ... 
Anyways was able to resolve this issue.
One of the queues was corrupted. I deleted it and re-created it and it worked.
