Hi all,
I am trying to install and setup wbimb 5.0. I have installed my mq5.3, db28.1 with fixpak 3 and wbimb 5.0 with csd02
I have created my three databases in db2. When I try to create the odbc connections from the system dsn tab for the IBM DB2 ODBC driver, I am running into the following error.
===================
the setup routines for IBM DB2 ODBC DRIVER could not be loaded due to system error 126.
===================
Has anyone seen this before? Can you please help me or point me to where I can go further for help?
Thanks in advance |

Use DB2 Client Configuration Assistant when defining ODBC connections for DB2 databases. _________________ Kiran

Actually, I think either his PATH or his CLASSPATH got messed up during install.
Try reversing the order of the DB2 and the MQSeries entries in your classpath. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I don't know if this has been solved.. but a bit of digging on the internet turns up this:
Quote: |
[System Error 126]This error means that the ODBC driver itself (DLL file) cannot load its dependency files. This could be because the database client software is not installed or its working directory (usually called "bin") is not in the Windows search path for this computer. Also, it could mean that the ODBC driver has not been properly installed.
