I Am using the mqsilccdom.bat(domain aware for WMQI 2.1 CSD06) to connect to the Configuration Manager and it wouldn't let me because my userid is truncated to first 12 characters of the Fully Qualified User Name.
The Event Viewer Reads as
[img]Unable to obtain account details for channel MCA user ID.
WebSphere MQ was unable to obtain the account details for MCA user ID 'slxb3m@slc-n'. This user ID was the MCA user ID for channel 'SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG' on queue manager 'MQSI.DEV.CONFIGMGR' and may have been defined in the channel definition, or supplied either by a channel exit or by a client.
Ensure that the user ID is correct and that it is defined on the Windows local system, the local domain or on a trusted domain. For a domain user ID, ensure that all necessary domain controllers are available.

One of my collegues mentioned that the old Java MQ Client Program(don't know the name of the class) would truncate the fully qualified user name(with domain) to 12 characters.
So I have to mess with the mqsilccdom.bat to override the MQSI_CLASSPATH statement to pick up the Java Client Libraries installed with the WMQ5.3.

I just wanted to share this with folks out here on this WMQI Support List because we scratched our head a lot to find this out.
Also it is a shame that when we apply CSDs they dont update Java Client Libraries with the latest classes/packages.
