Hi-
I am new to WMQ Workflow. I am trying to install the WMQ Workflow 3.4 by following the instructions from the installation guide using the sample configurations but with no luck in completing the configuration.
Here is the error message:

Is there something that I have done wrong? Is it the environment setup?
Please helps.
Thanks.

Was your WebSphere Application Server running while you were trying to create the configuration?
Did you specify the right install directory path for your WAS?
Did you specify the right java/jre path ?
I think instead of specifying paths like
c:\PROGRA~1\WEBSPH~1\APPSER~1\java\bin it is better if you give
C:\Program Files\WebSphere\AppServer\java\bin |

The WAS is running and tried to use the path given still with no luck.
I also noticed in the background it has the following error messages:
FMC33746I Creating the Web Client files ...
FMC33938I Creating 'fmcohcli.war'
FMC33687I c:\PROGRA~1\WEBSPH~1\APPSER~1\java\bin\jar cMf fmcohcli.war -C webpage
s\ .
[ Unable to allocate an initial java heap of 8388608 bytes. ]
[ **Out of memory, aborting** ]
[ ]
[ *** panic: JVMST016: Cannot allocate memory for initial java heap ]
abnormal program termination
FMC33939E Creation of 'fmcohcli.war' failed.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks. |

HI Irawan,
Why don't you try to configure once, without selecting the webclient, or if select the webclient also, instead of selecting WAS, select other webserver and give it a try. Wha is the machine configuration, that you are configuring worflow?

Hi Gopi-
It works when I selecting other webserver using SERVLET API but not when I selected Other (J2EE Application). Was my error message caused by my java environment not properly setup?
I am running this configuration on a laptop for demo purpose with 1GB RAM. Do you know where to set the java heap size?
Thanks,
Irawan |

Hi-
It works now. The problem I had because my machine didn't have enough memory to handle. After I stopped a few services, it worked.
Thanks all for the response.
Cheers-
