Hi All,

I seem to have an interesting problem.
I need to create the following XML output from a COMPUTE node;

<root>
<DB2 table="test" where="empno='100' " />
</root>

When I try the following:
SET OutputRoot.XML.root.DB2.(XML.attr)table = 'test';
SET OutputRoot.XML.root.DB2.(XML.attr)where = 'empno''' || '100''';

I get the following XML:
<root>
<DB2 table="test" where="empno= '100' " />
</root>

I am not sure how to escape the single 'QUOTE' to create the above required output?

Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks for all you help.
regards.
N

Well, what WMQI is showing is correct. That's how you represent single quote in XML. When the receiving application reads this message they will be able to identify quotes provided they use standard XML parser.

Thanks for the reply.

As you correctly mentioned the output even though looks incorrect is correct and the application getting the reply was able to correctly parse the message.

Thanks.
