Hi
I want to retrieve a specific event message (say, Queue Full) for a particular Queue. How to go about it?
Do I have to retrieve all messages for the Queue and iterate to find the relevant message or is there a way to get the relevant message in one Java call?
I am new to MQ, and after going through a couple of documents, I understand that I can give all the criteria, like Reason, QMgr name etc in a PCFMessage, send it across and get the reply Message. Am I on the track right? If not, what is the correct way to do it?
I tried using MQMessage and JMS, but could not figure out how to give/ get the fileds in the message body. |

There's an entire manual devoted to Event Monitoring.
I'd start there. I haven't read it in quite a while, so I can't give anything more useful, sorry. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

It's a manual. About Event Monitoring.
So I clicked on the button at the top of the page, labeled documentation.
I chose "latest Multi Platform guides", since I'm not concerned about any platform specific details.
And I looked.
And it says WebSphere MQ Event Monitoring. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
