Dear All,

I am using MQSeries 5.3 on AIX. Number of channel connections in the Queue Manager is getting increased abruptly.
The maximum number of channel is configured as 100. The load in the queue manager is less. The number of active channels reaches 100 and new request are failed giving the error

AMQ9513: Maximum number of channels reached.

Since the applicationis on the production and the issue is very critical.Please help on this is issue.

My guess would be that you have applications that aren't disconnecting from the qmgr.
