I am presuming that you are using the MA0C Publish/Subscribe mechanism. The concept of a durable subscriber comes from Java JMS. In MA0C, a subscription is durable by default. This means that once a subscription on a topic is made, all future publications referencing that topic will be put to the named queue until an explicit de-registration is performed. There is an option to specify that the subscription should terminate when the target temporary queue is gone but you would have to do more work to make that happen.
