Hi All,
We are into design phase of new application and we can not afford much failures. As a part of this project I need help to find list of possible errors in MQ-series. For example queue manager down or communication link down. Like this how many possible error/exceptions we may have and if possible I like to know the solution too.
We are on AS/400 platform and remote server is Mainframe.
Thanks in advance,

You can look at the manual called "Messages", which contains a complete list of every message and error and reason code that MQSeries can possibly ever emit. It also contains some IBM recommendations for what might cause the error and how you might resolve it (or when you can't resolve it, and need to contact IBM).
Or you can do something sensible, like read the Application Programming Guide and look at the sample code provided to see what error situations are important to trap and what aren't, and how you should respond to different types of error situations. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
