Hello,
I ran into a strange encounter with MQ today while looking in Explorer. Messages are coming onto the queue, and are populated as normal. Then, towards the end of the queue, there are several messages that are all zeroe'd out, where the header and messages show nothing but 0s. Would this be the application and not MQ?
All message lengths show 300
Encoding shows 273
Group id shows all zeroes
Message id shows all zeroes
Correlation id shows all zeroes
nothing is in the user id or format fields
put date and time are populated normally
Priority shows a -1
I don't think this would be MQ, but rather the putting application. Agreed?[/code] |

It's pretty much always the application. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

So in essence, we were thinking that we saw the zeroed out messages because the message was 'not actually on the queue' at that point... Have you ever seen this? |

Afraid not, if you saw the message, regardless of what it contains or looks like, it is on the queue for real. _________________ Peter Potkay
