Hypothetical Situation:
An application sends its time stamp (GMT) within a message that is passed to an SAP application (receives in EST). Unfortunately when SAP gets the message it causes an application error on the date because the time occurs in the future. What I would like to do is convert the GMT time to EST time. Is there a feature in MQSI version 2.1 that makes this conversion easy? Also on the East Coast of the United States we have daylight savings time. In Europe their time changes don't correspond to ours. I am sure somebody has encountered this issue. Is there any suggestions for resolving this?

Yes you can do it. You will have to do some arithmetic using the value returned by LOCAL_TIMEZONE function.

FYI : This can also be acheived automaticaly using the message sets.
