Hi All,
If we need to know using what dabase id or what dsn name, db userid, db password..... a broker was created, is there any way we can query the broker for this info.
How can we get this info (if we failed to document it). There should be some place where the broker stores this info.

What platform?
WBIMB on a Solaris platform stores the broker database id in /var/mqsi/registry/Broker-Name/DataSourceUserId, the broker service id is located in /var/mqsi/registry/Broker-Name/ServiceUserId, and user-database ids are stored in /var/mqsi/registry/Broker-Name/DSN/Data-Source-Name/UserId.
Passwords are stored in the same location(s) in seperate Password files, and are encrypted.
I believe WBIMB running on a Windows platform stores this information in the Windows registry, not on disk. |

On Windows you can find the entry in registry. Here is the info for WMQI 2.1

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->IBM->WebSphereMQIntegrator->2->[Your_Broker_Name]
