Hello,
I was successfully able to use the binary imqsgetc from sample programs(bin) to connect to a remote queue manager and write to the queue .
I want to modify imqsget.cpp to put in some extra options for my client program. So I just copied imqsget.cpp to myProgram.C ( a C++ file) and compiled myProgram.C successfully on my HP-UX box.
But, when I execute the corresponding binary, ImqQueueManager::connect failed with reason code 2058. Surprisingly, if I run imqsgetc with the same arguments, everything is fine.
Should I be setting some additional options in my Makefile??

Did you specify that you needed to bind against the mq CLIENT libraries? Or did you bind agains the mq SERVER libraries?

These are the libraries I have used:
-limqi23ah -lmqm -lmqic
Do I need to include some other libraries??
