I am trying to trigger a UNIX script. I have defined the appropriate process on the UNIX box. However, when my script triggers, a core gets created in the /home/mqm directory.

If i execute this script manually as another user-id, then the core does not get created.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also - Can the MQ process trigger the script specified in the APPLICID field with a "su - c command" and have the process it execute it as another user-id?

You might be able to use "su -c" - it's worth a try.

Even if you can't use it in the APPLCID, you should be able to use it in your script.

You could also try changing the script to setuid.
