Hi all,
I am trying insert data into database(DB2) and my message flow is
Input ---> compute node ---> datainsert Node ---> output node.
my database is in other system(linux). I am working on Windows NT. I have created a message set and have mapped the i/p source to the database table. I am getting the errors
there are 5 errors
1. ( DBROKER.default ) Database error: SQL State 'IM002'; Native Error Code '0'; Error Text '[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified'.

The error has the following diagnostic information: SQL State 'IM002' SQL Native Error Code '0' SQL Error Text '[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified'

2.
( DBROKER.default ) Database error: ODBC return code '-1'.

DBROKER.default ) (.INOUT_DataInsert, 6.1) :
Error executing SQL statement 'INSERT INTO WKBASKETMETADATA(STATUS) VALUES (?)' against
datasource '' with parameters 'NULL, '.

3.( DBROKER.default ) (.INOUT_DataInsert, 6.1) : Error executing SQL statement 'INSERT INTO WKBASKETMETADATA(EFILINGNUMBER) VALUES (?)' against datasource '' with parameters 'NULL, '.

can any one help, where i am doing wrong and how to solve this. Is there any best way to insert data into a remote database.
Thanks in advance,
Suri

Hi all,
I think the problem is with Compose insert Expression. where Mapping value is null
mapping null ---> DOCID
This appears after i have mapped DOCID from the Message to DOCID in the table.
how can i get away from Null value. Is that i am doing some wrong with mapping. .. or..
please, help me
Thanks,
Suri

Did you create an ODBC connection on your Broker box (Windows) for your DB2 application DB? Can you access the DB2 on Linux thru command line from Windows box?

Is DOCID part of your input message? Is the field populated? To find this out you can put a Trace node in between (before the DataInsert) node.
