I am looking for a tool which will allow for the automated backup of queues. The ideal tool would be able to replay a subset of the messages that have been backed up. _________________ John McDonald

Hi,
Are you looking for an 'Batch' or 'Interactive' way of doing it?
If Interactive, then may I suggest MQ Visual Edit. The user can select the messages to be backed up (mqmd & data) to a single file for later replay.
We are currently building for a customer a 'Batch' Backup & Restore Tool that conforms to MQ Visual Edit's VEQ file format. So stay tuned.
For more information or to download a 30-day trial of MQ Visual Edit, go to:

Take a look at MQ Visual Edit tool & Reconda's QN Appwatch tool. I believe it can do this. _________________ Kiran
