How does performance increase when two execution groups are added to a single broker in WMQI v2.1. Also can we assign one execution group to two brokers.

An execution group is a single process.
Two execution groups = two processes.
So you will increase thorughput unless they have to contend for resources.

The answer to your second question is no although you could have identicaly named execution groups in two brokers and you could deploy the same resources to both.
