does anybody know where amqsprm and amqsxrm sample programs
to show you how to do File transfer over MQ with reference messages

If you chose to install the sample programs on your machine when you installed MQSeries, then they are in there.

Otherwise, have you tried clicking the 'repository' button at the top of this very page?

Depending on your platform, the samples may not be automatically installed.

If you did install the samples, then those programs are in the Tools->C->Samples directory.
