I am thinking of using MQ Message Referencing to transfer a file from Windows to Unix/AIX. In the header it specifies file type. I am aware that MQ has a file type of 'flat file'. Does MQ recognize any other file types? We are trying to transfer images which are .jpg files.

Image files are usually just flat files that contain binary data.
