I am trying to migrate my V2.1 (CSD6) msg flows and msg sets for the first time to V5.

After using the mqsimigratemsgflows command I get a txt file with the results. The only error messages I get are:

Error: BIP0868E Unable to correctly migrate a promoted property.

The migration command cannot locate the node hosting an overridden property.
A placeholder property was substituted to preserve the flow integrity.
Message flow name being migrated: OB_RECEIVE_MANAGER_REQUEST
Promoted property name: EXCEPTIONX20QueueX20Name
Overridden property name: EXCEPTION Queue Name
After migration, from the WebSphere Studio, promote the property again.
ESQL code reuse has been enhanced significantly and is no longer promotable.
Refer to the ESQL programming guide for further information.


After using the mqsimigratemsgsets command I get a txt file with the results and it says me msgset was migrated with no errors.



When I start the Workbench I don't see any of my message sets or flows. For the flow import I tried letting the migrate create the project and also tried manually creating it prior to the migrate. I also tried the rebuild all projects option.

Can anyone help me?

Looks like you have to run the migrate commands from the eclipse directory because it builds files and places them in the /workspace dir.

The -data parameter is the key here. It lets you select the workspace you want the command or workbench to operate with. Details in the help.
