I think this question has been posted before but with no clear answer....

Aside from C/C++, can Java (or other programming languages) do API Exits?

They need to be in a native o/s shared library with aspecific exported entrypoints. Definitely not Java, and I think MQ only ships with headers for C support.

Thanks for the feedback Jason, I've read the Applications Programming Guide and the Systems Administration Manual and the only thing mentioned about programming language(s) used for API Exits is using C.

My next problem will be the one I posted on a separate thread... Its about using SQL in API Exits.
