HI GUYS
I HAVE AN INPUT XML MESSAGE WITH A DATE FIELD
THE INCOMMING DATE FIELD IS OF THE FORMAT
DATE 6-6-2000
I NEED TO BE LIKE 2000-6-6 IN THE OUTPUT MESSAGE
CAN ANYBODY GIVE ME THE ESQL TO MAKE THE DATE TO THE ABOVE FORMAT

Shrinivas,

Take a look at ESQL reference manual. You will find some examples similar to this. There are different ways of doing this.
You need to use a combination of CAST and SUBSTRING function.
