Hi,
I have 2 Qmanager QM1 and QM2 . QM1 on Windows and QM2 on unix.
with 2 channel pairs. When I ping channel from QM2 to QM1 it is OK. When I ping from QM1 to QM2 I had the following error in queuemanager log from QM2:

06/09/04 09:07:47
AMQ9508: Program cannot connect to the queue manager.

EXPLANATION:
The connection attempt to queue manager 'QT02' failed with reason code 2059.
ACTION:
Ensure that the queue manager is available and operational.
----- amqrmsaa.c : 289 --------------------------------------------------------
06/09/04 09:07:47
AMQ9999: Channel program ended abnormally.

EXPLANATION:
Channel program 'RAAP01.QT02' ended abnormally.
ACTION:
Look at previous error messages for channel program 'RAAP01.QT02' in the error
files to determine the cause of the failure.

but the Quemanager QT02 is started and can start runmqsc QT02 ??? It is as the receiver channel would not exist but it is here !
Each time I try a ping channel a /opt/mqm/bin/amqrmppa -m QT02 process is started .

I have see anothe error in the log:

----- amqrmrsa.c : 467 --------------------------------------------------------
06/09/04 09:12:31
AMQ9207: The data received from host '194.11.222.104' is not valid.

EXPLANATION:
Incorrect data format received from host '194.11.222.104' over TCP/IP. It may
be that an unknown host is attempting to send data. An FFST file has been
generated containing the invalid data received.
ACTION:
Tell the systems administrator.
----- amqccita.c : 2888 -------------------------------------------------------
06/09/04 09:12:31
AMQ9228: The TCP/IP responder program could not be started.

EXPLANATION:
An attempt was made to start an instance of the responder program, but the
program was rejected.
ACTION:
The failure could be because either the subsystem has not been started (in this
case you should start the subsystem), or there are too many programs waiting
(in this case you should try to start the responder program later). The reason
code was 0.
