Hey,
This is what am tryin to do....send a message from one queue mgr to another on the same comp using command line. i have trans Q, sender channel, remote Q on the sender side and i have a local queue and receiver channel on the receiver side. am tryin to start a listerner at the receiver side with a port number using the runmqlsr command
runmqlsr -m qmgrname - t tcp -p port number but for some reason i cant start the listener hence cant get the channel to work. need help.

Are there any errors logged in the event viewer? What did you specify in connection name for your channel? _________________ Kiran

i cud figure out what went wrong form the event viewer. I had a listerner already running on that port.
