HI,
I have one question. One of my java application wants to connect to COBOL files in a legacy fashion. These are pure MF - COBOL files only.No mainframe nor AS/400.All are stored in windows NT or unix platform.

Could anyone tell me that if I use MQ Series can I connect to COBOL source with java ?

I need expert advise.

Thanks in advance

regards

What are COBOL files in a legacy fashion. As far as I know there are no COBOL only files. Are you trying to say that you want to call a COBOL program from a java application????
Not sure what you are trying to do

What do you mean by "cobol files"?

Do you mean files that contain data, that were created by cobol applications?

Or do you mean files that contain cobol code, parts of which you wish to execute?
