Hi All,
We are currently evaluating IBM MQ Workflow & its related products. One of the requirement for us is to identify&evaluate audit log analyzer program/software.
Could you give me your feedback on any of the products you suggest/work on regarding Audit trail.
Thanks

Hi Chris
There really isn't much choice here. There are very few products on the market for what your looking for. I would look at the WBI Monitor product, but be aware that you will need to use WBI Modeler to take advantage of WBI Monitor. _________________ Dave Krier

Thanks manoj & dave.
Right now, we are not in a position to evaluate/use WBI related products (monitor & modeler). What I heard from some sources is that WBI related products are not stable yet and even IBM wants clients to wait until version 5 is released . Is that true? Also, I heard that there is a product - VitalSigns ( I forgot the company name ) for Audit log review.
Could you guys throw some light on any of these?

Chris,
I agree with 'kriersd' aka Dave...in that, there very few products currently on the market that have the ability to do this. I have used both Vital Signs and the WBI Monitor products. These will both do what you are looking for(depending on the environment you are working with in some cases), however I personally am looking forward to the next release of the WBI Monitor 5.1 which is going to be eclipse based. Bear in mind that the monitor product costs a couple of more pennies than the vital signs product does as well, however also comes with IBM support.
One might be faster, better looking, etc etc, but both will get the job done.
The WBI Modeler 5.1 features: (available in 2H of 2004)
- LOB Modeling based on eclipse
- FDL and BPEL
The WBI Monitor 5.1 features:
- CEI
- LOB Monitoring _________________ Praveen K. Chhangani,
