The problem: Not able to deploy Message flows and sets of higher fixpack.
I have message flows and sets exported by WMQI 2.1 fixpack 6.
The import works fine but I get the following error while them deploying them in the execution group. Now I upgraded my version with fixpack 6, but still I get the same error.
The log says:
"
BIP1758E: Invalid message flow type found when deploying message flows.
When deploying message flow data, an attempt was made by a message flow type to override the value of a nonexistent property of run-time message flow type Compute. The property in question is 'validateFixup'. The message flow type in error is the one that embeds Compute, and may be identified from label xxxxx.Filter Message. This is probably caused by a message flow type that corresponds to a run-time node having been replaced by a later version with different property names. Update the message flow type in error to use the correct property name. However if the problem persists, turn on Configuration Manager tracing to capture details of the problem, and contact your IBM support center."
Any Idea whats going wrong out here??
Regards,
Suchit |

You didn't tell the environment of the importing machine.
It won't give any errors while importing.
while deploying (lets assume compiling) when it finds a new function in the compute node which is introduced in fixpack6 and not in earlier versions.you will get this error.look in the compute node whether you have such pre defined functions using. |

You must have recently upgraded to CSD6 on the broker that you have the mentioned problem.
After you upgraded, did u recreate the config mgr as per instructions in the readme file of CSD 06 (U200206?)
There is a section...Migration to fixpack 03...that will ask you to recreate the config mgr.
