Hi
Is it possible in WMQI to have a charcter array. For eg: I have a select statement that returns multiple values that I want stored in a local variable(not environment variable) as an array.
Thanks

raghubegur,
No, locally declared variables can not be defined as arrays. It appears that you already know that the environment or local environment trees can be used in the capacity of an array. Is there a reason you're resistent to using a local environment variable? |

Actuallys, Arrays are not supported by ESQL. When you store data into Environment or some other tree you refer to repeated elements usign indexes, but Internally WMQI will navigate to that particular repeated element when returning data. Under the covers tree navigation is happening. _________________ Kiran
