I have failed to obtain conclusive defintion for Primary and Secondary log files.Is Primary log files placed in temporary storage space like RAM and Secondary Logfile placed in permanent storage space like HDD?How does it affect in circular and linear logging?..Cheers

LogFilePages
The size of each primary and secondary log file in units of 4K pages

The number of preallocated primary log files
LogSecondaryFiles
The number of secondary log files that can be created for use when the primary log files are full
