I have configured WMQI 2.1 and created Message Set, Flow, Broker, Execution Set etc. and start the Debugger.
I just have MQInput and MQOutput nodes in the message flow. i have put a break point after input node.
Execution Flow gets initiated and MQMD and MRM nodes appear in the "Message Content" pane. MQMD is filled with the values. MRM is empty.
I have applied CSD04.
Any hints will be greatly appriciated.
Any sample message sets - SWIFT related?
Thanks a lot.
I am using bulk load utility to load the message set into WMQI. |

There is at least one support pack available that discusses SWIFT messages.
If you are not seeing any MRM data, this is likely because you have done nothing to cause the message data to be parsed.
WMQI is a lazy parsing machine, always. It will parse no field before it's time.
Try enabling validation on your Input Node. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Couple of points (found by hard-way by going throu the entire stack of elements, types and messages provided with id06)
1. msgStd should be set to "UNKNOWN"
2. If msgStd is set to "SWIFT", the vardelim doesnot work as expected.
3. Try with a simple message say MT199.
4. Some issues with Type="DEC" and "Date", so be careful
With the above changes, I am able to proceed to load SWIFT definition into MRM using Bulk load utility. Also, able to parse the message using WMQI. Thanks for all the hints/feedbacks |
