| Is there a certain version for a client install that is a prerequisite for MQ 5.3. We currently have 5.2 |

Not sure what you mean
But, you can directly install MQ Client 5.3 without any earlier versions. |

| ok, currently we have installed MQ 5.3 server on one machine. We have the client on another which is 5.2, Do we need to upgrade the client? |

Not necessarily. MQ 5.2 Client CAN talk to MQ 5.3 server but it is a good idea to do so |
