I am getting error code while trying to start a channel initiater. its says the error code 4128. Please let me know what does it mean and how to overcome it.

there should be a "text message" assocaited with this error. What does it say?

Also check whether the channel initiator really is running - There was a problem with losing track of what had been launched...

Look in taskmgr for runmqchi processes and there should be one per qmgr running on the machine.
