In the new tooling, it seems as though message sets have to be individually deployed to each execution group in order for them to be utilized by a message flow. This differs from the MQSeries Integrator Version 2.1 model, where the message set was deployed at the broker level and not at the execution group level.

That's correct! I believe it's much more efficient than WMQI 2.1.
In your bar file you can "package" message flow and message set together and deploy them to any EG. If you have a common message set then you can package it with every message flow that uses it in a BAR file. _________________ Kiran

What used to happen in 2.1 is that a message set was automatically deployed to ALL execution groups. You were not able to only deploy it selected execution groups.
Now the unit of deployment is a BAR file which can contain Message Flows and Message Sets and must be deployed to each execution group separately.
